Tutorial #3

Translatable to all programs, i used Photoshop cs3 Extended.
Involves a lot of textures.

1. Find your image and crop it to 100x100. Convert it to black and white if it isn't already.  The Adam one that i used was in black and white. In order for the textures to work, you need to have a dark background. White or light backrounds won't work.
2. Add this tiny text brush (i don't know who made it, sorry) and set it to screen 79%.
3. Add this cloud texture by lovelamp (i just resized it to icon size) and set it to lighten. It doesnt matter if some covers the body/face. Lower the opacity if needed.
4. Add this texture made by _excentric_ that i also resized. set it to multiply 100%.
5. Add this texture by xswaniconsx  and set it to multiply 100%.
6. Take this texture by sanami276  and desaturate it. then set it to lighten.
7. Add any text, merge all, and you're done!

Tutorial #2

Involves Selective Coloring, Fill Layers, and Hue/Saturation.
Not Translatable.

1. Find your image and crop it, sharpen if you want, etc.
2. Duplicate your base, and set it to screen 50%.
3. New Selective Coloring Layer:
                    Reds: -100, 0, +100, 0
                    Yellows: +100, 0, -100, 0
                    Whites: +100, 0, +60, 0
                    Neutrals: 0, 0, 0, -32 (-20 to -32 depending on your image, you don't want it too bright).
                    Blacks: 0, 0, 0, +20
4. New Fill Layer using #040b27 (dark blue)
                    Set it to exclusion 30%.
5. New Hue/Saturation layer. Use these settings:
                    Master Saturation: 15
6. New Selective Color Layer:
                    Whites: +50, 0, 0, 0

Thats it! You may need to adjust some settings according to your image.

Tutorial #1

I'm finally posting my first tutorial, yay!
I'm pretty sure it's translatable. No selective coloring.

Involves Color Balance, Channel Mixer, Color Layers.

1. Find your image, crop to 100x100, sharpen, etc.

2. New Color Balance Layer. Use these settings:
                      Shadows: -48, -15, -10
                      Midtones: -27, 0, 0
                      Highlights: 17, -37, 19
(the -37 will have to go down depending on the image. you dont want it really pink-ish. for lighter images, set it to -10)

3. New Channel Mixer. Use these settings:
                      Blue: -14

4. New Raster Layer. Fill it up with #b3e5f3 (light blue) and set it to burn. Adjust opacity if needed. You don't want it too blue.

5. New Raster Layer. Fill it with #0b2655 (dark blue) and set it to exclusion 100%.

6. Duplicate base, drag to top, set it to softlight. Adjust the opacity if needed.

7. New Hue/Saturation/Lightness Layer. Use these settings:
                       Master Saturation: 20 - 35 (depending on your image)

8. Add this texture on the side and leave it at normal.
    Sorry, I don't know who made it. I've had it saved forever.

9. Add this tiny text on the paper texture. Set it to multiply.
    Once again, I don't know who made it.

10. Add text, merge, and you're done!
